How it works
It’s so easy.
1. Unlock it
Pick out a bike or scooter, and use the Divvy or Lyft app to scan its QR code.*
2. Ride it
Hop on and start cruisin’.
3. Park it
Find an open space at any Divvy docking station. When the lock-in light turns green, you’re all set.**

*If you don't have a smartphone, single ride passes for classic bikes can also be purchased at select Divvy kiosks. Check out step-by-step instructions here.
**If you’re on an ebike or a scooter, you can also park at one of over 600 public racks or posts for free. Check the app to find racks nearby. Parking an ebike or scooter at any other legal public location is an extra $2.40 for non-members and $1.20 for Divvy members.

The original ebike
With speeds up to 20 MPH, these custom pedal-assist ebikes give you the power to tackle bridges, shorten your commute, and see more in less time. Just start pedaling and the power kicks in.
Classic rides
Our classic bicycles were designed for easy riding in an urban environment. They were built to be comfortable for any type of rider, regardless of height, riding ability, or zodiac sign.
Scooters
Kick. Push. Coast. Our scooters were designed to make riders feel cool—and confident—zipping through the streets of Chicago.
All Divvy riders are encouraged to wear a helmet. Keep it buckled and wear it level
